for local service businesses

A one-page website that gets you found and called.

Most of your work comes from someone searching, finding you, and picking up the phone. If what they find is a social page you stopped updating and a Google listing with the wrong hours, you are losing calls you will never hear about.

This is not a redesign and it is not a brand project. It is one page that says what you do, where you work, and how to reach you, plus a cleanup of your Google Business Profile so the two point at each other properly. For a local service business, those two things together are what makes the phone ring.

What you get

Two things, both done properly.

01

The page

  • Your services, service area, and hours
  • Your phone number, easy to tap on a phone
  • A contact form that emails you
  • Licensing, insurance, and certifications where you have them
  • Up to eight photos you provide
  • Built to work properly on a phone, which is where most people will see it

02

Your Google Business Profile

  • Correct categories, services, hours, and service area
  • Description and attributes completed
  • Photos added
  • A walkthrough of how to keep it current

Also included

  • Your web address registered in your name, so you own it
  • Hosting covered for the first year
  • One round of changes before we go live

Not included

Additional pages, logo or brand design, photography, writing beyond tidying up what you give me, online booking or payments, and advertising or search marketing. Any of these can be quoted separately if you want them later.

What it costs

One price, and you own what you get.

$500 total

Half at signing, half when the site goes live. If your web address needs registering, that is about fifteen dollars a year paid directly to the registrar in your name, and it is not part of my fee.

Hosting is covered for your first year. After that you can move to a care plan at $250 a year, which keeps hosting covered and includes up to three small changes a month, or you can take the site with you. You own your domain either way, and I will hand over your files with no fee attached. I will remind you about sixty days before your first year is up so nothing lapses by surprise.

How it works

About a week, start to live.

You send me what I need

A short intake form, your photos, and manager access to your Google Business Profile. That last one takes about a minute and I will walk you through it. You can remove my access at any time, I will never change your password, and I will never take ownership of your listing.

I build it

Within five business days of receiving your deposit and your completed form, whichever comes second.

You get one round of changes

Send them in writing, all together, within five business days of seeing the draft. Writing it down is not me being formal. It is so you get exactly what you asked for and neither of us is working from memory a week later. Additional rounds before launch are $75 each.

We go live

If life gets in the way and I have not heard from you in thirty days, I set the project aside and pick it back up whenever you are ready. Your deposit stays on your account and does not expire.

Straight answers

The questions owners actually ask.

Why only one page?

Because a second page rarely earns its keep for a local service business. Someone looking for you wants to know what you do, where you work, whether you are licensed, and how to reach you. That fits on one page, and a page that loads fast and answers everything beats five pages nobody scrolls.

I already have a Facebook page. Is that not enough?

Sometimes it is. A Facebook page does put your business inside someone else's product though, next to competitors and whatever the feed decides to show that day, and you do not control how it looks. If yours is genuinely bringing you work, keep it and save your money. If people find it and call someone else anyway, that is worth a look.

What if I do not have good photos?

Send what you have. Photos of your own finished work taken on a phone usually do more than a stock image of someone else's job. Up to eight is plenty. If you have none at all, say so and we will work out what the page can do without them.

Do I own it, or am I renting it from you?

You own it. Your web address is registered in your name, not mine. If you stop working with me you keep it, and I will hand over your files so you or anyone else can host it elsewhere. There is no fee for that.

What happens after the first year?

Hosting is covered for the first year. After that you can move to a care plan at $250 a year, which keeps hosting covered and includes up to three small changes a month, or you can take the site and go. I will remind you about sixty days before the first year is up so nothing lapses by surprise, and there is no obligation either way.

What do you actually need from me?

A short intake form, your photos, and manager access to your Google Business Profile. That last one takes about a minute and I will walk you through it. You can remove my access whenever you want, I will never change your password, and I will never take ownership of your listing.

What if I go quiet halfway through?

That happens and it is fine. If I have not heard from you in thirty days I set the project aside and pick it back up whenever you are ready. Your deposit stays on your account and does not expire.

I am not ready for a website. Can you just fix my Google listing?

Yes. That is a smaller piece of work on its own, $99, and it takes about forty five minutes. You get the same Google Business Profile cleanup described above: correct categories, services, hours and service area, description and attributes completed, photos added, and a walkthrough of how to keep it current.

Worth saying plainly that the listing on its own does less than the two together. The profile is what helps people find you. The page is what they read before deciding to call. If you only do one, do this one.

an honest note

How this fits with the rest of my work.

Most of what I do is diagnostic. I look at a business, work out where the revenue is actually leaking, and hand back a plan you can act on. That work starts with a Business Reality Check, because recommending anything before understanding a business is guessing.

This is not that, and I am not going to pretend it is. This is a specific job with a fixed price and a defined finish: a page and a profile, built properly, in about a week. You do not need a diagnosis to know whether your phone number is easy to find.

If a bigger question comes up while we work together, we can talk about it separately and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth your money. If it does not come up, you do not need to buy anything else from me and I will not suggest that you do.

See how the diagnostic work is different if you want to understand the distinction before you decide.

ready when you are

Tell me about your business.

Send me what you do and where you work, and I will tell you straight whether a one-page site is the right thing for you right now. If it is not, I will say so.
